Research Programs—Introduction
The GWCSG is pleased to present the first two of its new research initiatives on prominent issues of globalization. The goal of the Global Research Program is to bring together researchers with multidisciplinary backgrounds to examine current issues of globalization from various angles. Contributors of each research program will disseminate their findings in a series of books published by the GWCSG. The topics of the first three research programs are:

- Global Markets and Outsourcing
- China and the Global Economy
- Diasporas and Global Governance
Research Projects—Introduction
To fulfill its mission the GWCSG promotes research on the various forces that drive globalization. The Center has funded over twenty research projects up to date. The following is a complete listing of the GW faculty members—and their projects—who have received funding to carry out innovative, multidisciplinary research relating to globalization studies in the primary areas of Globalization and Convergence, Global Finance and Investment, and Globalization and Information Technology.
